NICOLA HEIM

Acting, Voice & Movement

Nicola Heim studied theater and film at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom and at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, where she founded the first theater workshop for inmates at Colins Bay Correctional Facility. She completed her acting training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York. Since 2003, she has been living and working in Berlin as an assistant director, actress, and acting coach.

In the feature films KNOCHEN UND NAMEN and SAD JOKES by Fabian Stumm, she was also active as a producer and was nominated in 2024 at the Munich Film Festival for the Förderpreis Neues Deutsches Kino for best production performance. Nicola Heim is the founder and artistic director of schauspielfabrik berlin and teaches acting, movement, and voice.

WINFRIED GOOS

Monologue and Scene Study

Winfried Goos works as a freelance actor, video artist, and acting instructor in Germany and Switzerland. He studied acting at the University of Music and Theatre Rostock. He then became a member of the Berliner Ensemble and worked, among others, with Peter Stein, Robert Wilson, Katharina Thalbach, Mona Kraushaar, Manfred Karge, Thomas Langhoff, Mathias Langhoff, Philipp Tiedemann, Martin Wuttke, and Claus Peymann.

He appeared on camera in several film and television productions, such as SOKO LEIPZIG, SOKO WISMAR, and LETZTE SPUR BERLIN, and works as a speaker for Deutschlandradio and WDR as well as a voice actor for dubbing.

MATTIS NOLTE

Dance

Mattis Nolte studied dance at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart and completed his stage training at the Ballet School of the Hamburg State Opera. After a season with John Neumeier’s ensemble, he was engaged as a guest at the Salzburg Festival, National Theatre Mannheim, the State Theatre Braunschweig, Schlossfestspielen Potsdam, Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, on the stages of the City of Cologne, and at the RUHR FESTSPIELE in Recklinghausen.

Since 2002, he has also worked as an actor, singer, and speaker. His stage work includes WEST SIDE STORY at Theater Bremen, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM at the Gandersheim Cathedral Festival, EMILIA GALOTTI at the SEVERINS BURG THEATER in Cologne, DER BÄR / THE PROPOSAL at THEATER OST in Berlin, and DER NAME DER ROSE at the Berliner Kriminaltheater. He has taught modern dance and classical ballet at various schools and at the HUMBOLDT UNIVERSITY, and has been part of the team at schauspielfabrik berlin since 2011.

FABIAN STUMM

Casting

Fabian Stumm studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute New York and has performed at venues such as HAU – Hebbel am Ufer, Münchner Kammerspiele, Volksbühne Berlin, The Kitchen New York, and Tate Modern London. His film and television work includes award-winning feature films such as LORE by Cate Shortland, IVIE WIE IVIE by Sarah Blaßkiewitz, and the youth series DRUCK. In 2020, he made his debut as a writer and director with the short film BRUXELLES. His second film, DANIEL, followed in 2021 and was awarded Best Medium-Length Film at the Achtung Berlin Festival 2022.

His feature film debut, KNOCHEN UND NAMEN, won the Heiner Carow Prize at the Berlinale 2023. For his film SAD JOKES, he received the Neues Deutsches Kino Award for Best Director at the Filmfest München, as well as the Fipresci Prize of the International Film Critics. Additionally, in 2025, he was honored with the German Film Critics’ Award as Best Actor of the Year.

KATHARINA LÖWE

KATHARINA LÖWE

Singing

Katharina Löwe is a freelance singer, actress, and vocal coach. She earned her diploma in singing and musical theater at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin and has had engagements at, among others, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Volkstheater Rostock, the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Zittau, the Choriner Opernsommer, the Prague Festival Opera, and Hebbel am Ufer.

In 2018, she founded the music school OPUSin Berlin-Schönberg. She is also the director of several women’s ensembles and the Prenzlauer Kinderchor. As an actress, she appeared in AM ENDE DAS LICHT by Robert von Wroblewsky in 2023.

ANTONIA WALTHER

Camera Acting

Antonia Walther studied directing at the DFFB – German Film and Television Academy Berlin. During her studies, she produced several short films, including GOLDFISCHE MÖGEN KEIN GEBRÜLL, ERIKAS WAHNSINN, and DIE GRÜNE HÖLLE VON BERLIN. Her documentary work includes DIFFUSE SPIELE and #EU. She made her feature film debut with IMMERHIN: DIE KUNST, DIE KUNST, which premiered at the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis 2024.

Most recently, she directed the feature film THE RICH FAMILY (AT). Since 2024, she has been teaching Camera Acting at schauspielfabrik berlin.
