Registration

Registration for events at schauspielfabrik berlin must be submitted in writing, preferably using our registration form, which should be sent to us by post or email. Registration is binding. You will receive a written confirmation by post. If you do not receive confirmation within 7 days after the registration deadline, please contact us. To apply for full-time courses, in addition to the completed registration form, a recent passport photo and a brief informal statement of your personal goals in the field of acting are required.
schauspielfabrik berlin reserves the right to decide on admission to individual events. If the minimum number of participants for an event is not met, schauspielfabrik berlin reserves the right to cancel the event. Any fees already paid will be refunded.

Payment

Fees are due upon confirmation. Course fees must be paid via bank transfer and must be received by schauspielfabrik berlin no later than the payment deadline stated on the invoice.
Otherwise, the claim to a spot in the course will be forfeited. The fee for an event is based on a fixed minimum number of participants. If this number is not reached, a higher fee may be agreed upon individually and with the consent of all interested participants to ensure the course can take place. Alternatively, the number of course hours may be reduced while maintaining the same fee.

Dates

Dates for individual events are published on the schauspielfabrik berlin website. schauspielfabrik berlin reserves the right to make changes to these dates.

Fees

The fees for each event are listed on the schauspielfabrik berlin website. They apply only to the specified event dates. schauspielfabrik berlin reserves the right to change the fee amounts.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to schauspielfabrik berlin within the specified deadlines. The submission date applies. A full refund of the course fee is only possible if the cancellation is made at least four weeks before the course begins. If the cancellation is made during the third week before the course starts, 50% of the fee will be charged. No refund is possible for cancellations within the last two weeks before the course or after the course has begun. A processing fee of €50 will be charged for cancellations.

Missed Classes

Classes that do not take place due to the absence of instructors will be rescheduled or taught by a substitute if possible. Missed classes by participants cannot be refunded or made up. If a participant disrupts the rehearsal process due to frequent absences in an unreasonable manner, they may be excluded from further participation without the right to a refund or rescheduling. If schauspielfabrik berlin is forced to cancel an event for important reasons (such as instructor illness, insufficient number of participants, or force majeure), it is only obligated to refund the paid participant fees. No further claims can be made.

Rights to Film and Photos

Any image or video material created during the course is the property of schauspielfabrik berlin. schauspielfabrik berlin reserves the right to use all film, photo, and video works produced during the courses for promotional purposes. The release and use of image, film, and video material is only permitted by prior agreement. Such material is intended solely for the participants’ private use and must not be passed on to or used by third parties.

Liability, Insurance

By registering, the participant confirms that they have appropriate liability, health, and accident insurance coverage. schauspielfabrik berlin is not liable for accidents, thefts, or other damages occurring during events or on the way to or from the institute. Participants attend the events at their own risk. The management of schauspielfabrik berlin reserves the right to deny participation in events if a participant’s behavior unreasonably disrupts or interferes with the course.

Additional Agreements

No verbal agreements are made. Any additional agreements must be in writing to be valid.

Data Protection

In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, registration data is collected and stored in line with legal retention periods. Your data will not be shared with third parties. You have the right to request information about your stored personal data at any time. You also have the right to request correction, blocking, or — apart from mandatory data retention for business purposes — deletion of your personal data.
